Lets Talk Ramen!

Hello All!

I haven't posted in awhile. It's been crazy busy with work and costuming and performing and getting wicked sick over the holidays! Well, life, you have inspired this post. I find it increasingly hard to cook and keep life going at home when I'm running around 16 hours a day, so along with trying to eat out less I find myself eating Ramen more and you know what? Ramen is AMAZING! I've decided on a few new year's resolutions that I think will enrich my life and this is one of them. I'm gonna make my Ramen more amazing. Here's some inspiration!

Granted that last one takes three days to make, but it's inspiration.

I'm toying with the idea of peanut butter and curry powder. We shall see.

Along with trying to mix it up with my quick dishes at home I bought myself and my brother what is just an amazing cookbook. Seriously. It's also super huge and filled with happiness.

Fast, Easy, Fresh is a section in their magazine that they made a cook book of a few years back. Amazing recipies that are fast. Fresh. Easy. I just recently made a pot of braised chicken thighs with tomatoes and peppers, which was divine. (Did you know you could buy peeled tomatoes in a can? 'Cause I didn't!) I'll post the recipe here later. If anyone is not in love with Bon Appetit yet, you need to get on that.

Some other new year's resolutions are:

Listening to Coldplay and U2 more at home
Going for walks outside
Doing at least one thing I have never done before once a month
Doing at least one BIG thing this year I have never done before
Try to do Yoga with my husband

I know none of these are a stretch (except yoga! haha!) but I decided that I want to do things that are purely going to make my life richer. Listening to good music. Being out in nature. Trying new things. Not being stiff all the time.

Anywho, hope this post was enjoyable! I could really use help with my "something I've never done before" goal. If you have ideas, let me know!

And Happy 2014!

And don't forget to see the Light In The Piazza!
